Tokyo DisneySea: The Most Magical Theme Park on Earth

October 17, 2026

If you only visit one theme park in Japan, make it Tokyo DisneySea. It's unlike any other Disney park in the world — themed around the myths and legends of the sea, with a smoking volcano, Venetian canals, and details so good you'll forget you're in a theme park.

Here's a look at my day there:

Book your tickets ahead of time

Tickets for Tokyo DisneySea are sold for a specific date, and weekends and holidays sell out fast. I recommend locking in your day as soon as your trip is set. Book your Tokyo DisneySea tickets on Klook — it's quick, the e-ticket goes straight to your phone, and you can add it to the Tokyo Disney Resort app for ride reservations.

What not to miss

Fantasy Springs is the newest area at Tokyo DisneySea, with Frozen, Tangled, and Peter Pan lands that feel like stepping into the movies. Don't skip classics like Journey to the Center of the Earth, Soaring: Fantastic Flight, and Toy Story Mania. If you want to skip the longest lines, buy Disney Premier Access for one or two big rides in the app.

Getting there

Take the JR Keiyo Line from Tokyo Station to Maihama (about 15 minutes), then hop on the Disney Resort Line monorail to the DisneySea station. Arrive before opening — the first hour is the best time to ride with short waits.

Ready to go?

Tokyo DisneySea was one of the highlights of my whole trip to Japan. Grab your tickets on Klook before your date sells out — you won't regret it.
